Terms of service
The basics of using PGSExtract.
1. The service
PGSExtract extracts subtitle tracks from MKV files and converts image-based (PGS) subtitles to editable SRT text via OCR. Text-based subtitle tracks are extracted in your browser at no charge.
2. Your content
You must have the right to process the files you submit. You retain ownership of your subtitles and the SRT output; we claim no rights over them. Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
3. Credits & billing
Paid OCR runs on credits, where one credit converts one subtitle frame. You are charged only when a job succeeds, for the exact number of frames produced — a job that fails is not charged. Credits do not expire. Payments are handled by Paddle.
4. Availability & liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for OCR inaccuracies or for any loss arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.
5. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend access for misuse or to protect the service.
